Ill give this place even less than 1star.rip off for tourist, the meat they gave was not fresh at all and theres the cabbage fee they failed to mention and then on top of that if you dont buy drinks they will charge you for water😤😤😤.stay away from these place. !!! Ive paid almost 7700 yen its ok if its good food but nah never try these place besides they allow smoking indoors of which again we didnt know at all
Amazing food
Awesome Wagyu! One of the better Yakiniku places in Tokyo for sure!
Good place for Wagyu and reasonably priced.
You cook over coals set into the table. Could have done with a bit more heat in our bbq thingy. Meat was tender and extras were very good.
The food here is soo good, one of my favorite places to go to.
One of the best japanese BBQ places I have ever been to! It has quality meat and great friendly services! Recommended!
It's true that this might be a little bit expensive (~4000 JPY/person)But the meat is really, REALLY good.
Terrible! We asked for the wagyu set menu but we received regular beef at the price of wagyu beef. The staff and the manager were also rude and uninterested in giving a decent customer service. If you want to eat good beef go somewhere else cause this place is just a waste of money and time!
Good service, best Japanese beef, great environment at Kabukicho area.
I did the 5000 per person set. It filled two people well. Unlimited coleslaw and the two drinks included was good. Food quality on point and service. Pretty good.If your a budget client, may not be yours but compared to stuff I get in Toronto, Canada. It’s well priced and delivers.I love smoking indoors too haha
We did 2 set meals and free ordered the special recommended dishes! Super yummy and the cabbage salad helped with the massive amounts of meat
Food was great though service was not the fastest, so if you're in a rush not the best place. Be prepared to smell like the food when you step out, I think ventilation could be improved.
Good but expensive
One of the cheaper (better) meals I’ve had in Tokyo on this trip! Set lunch was 3 pieces of meat, including a wagyu beef burger and it’s like 1300yen with free flow salad, rice and soup.
Good service and food. Four stars because of not enough ventilation.
One of many Yakiniku places in the Shinjuku area. It’s cheaper than some of the fancier places and more of a cozy atmosphere. Came with a lot of friends and had a great meal with lots of beer. Place was a bit cramped and took an hour wait to get a table for 7 on a Saturday. I’m thankful they even could accommodate us and waited patiently at a pub across the restaurant. Good value, but tight space. Still loved the atmosphere and would go back.
excellent
Damn good
Fantastic restaurant, great service. Though tends to get very busy. A good idea to go in and book an hour or two before you intend to dine.
Meat is oishi-des!! On point!
Crazy delicious meat... Don't waste your time with the chicken/pork, just go for the wakyu beef. As 3 guys, we did not get the set meal and ordered various good quality meats, rice vegetables + 1 drink each and we ended up paying 17500 yens (including 1500 yens cover charge)
Every time we come to Japan, this place is a must. Best meat ever.
Pretty good place for some wagyu yakiniku. Many locals seems to come here and it can get rather loud, which some people may prefer. It does seem like a place where young people come to eat, drink and smoke. The meat itself is rather good too and they offer all you can drink too.
Average. Like all yakiniku restaurants it's expensive, but the meat is not so good here. I don't recommend.
Wagyu beef is outstanding. Marinated chicken pieces are a good complement. They offer sauce or salt for the beef, so we ordered one of each, being both curious and worried that the sauce might overpower the meat - it didn't, both options are delicious. Only downside is it's pretty pricey, and barbecuing the meat as you eat means it's not a meal you can take your time with. A great overall experience.
Stylist restaurant, traveller freindly, have english menu, great selection of beef.Personally I dont think the beef quality match the price. Just average beef selling at premium price. Nothing special.
good place
We ordered meatbox 2018 and the wagyu 5000 yen set. The meat quality was very good and the service is friendly, but the portion size is small and price was reasonably high, which were expected. 2 meatbox (12 pieces of meat of different types) 1 wagyu 5000 set, 1 plate of A5 wagyu, 4 drinks and 3 rice come to 18000 yen. The amount of smoke in the restaurant is suffocating. They also have an English menu.
Good selection of meats & open late.
Friendly staff and very helpful. I shared a set for 6000 Yen between 2 people. The Wagyu was delicious it literally melted in my mouth!
Average. I ordered for Wagu set and special Wagu but below my expectation
Came here on a Wednesday evening around 6:30pm and got seated right away. They have an English menu and the staff were very friendly and spoke English to an extent. We ordered the special 5000 yen set and another A5 set with sake. Fun, yummy and great atmosphere. It’s a bit pricey but we felt full when we left.
Wonderful place to dine with friends. Food was excellent and service very friendly (even to us Americans).
Best food I've had in Tokyo. Went on a Friday and had to wait about half an hour for a seat, but it was warm waiting inside and seated so we didn't mind. Cost about 5000 yen ( roughly about 50 USD at the time of writing this) per person, but we left feeling really full. I would say to definitely give this one a try, even if it seems like a bit pricey!
Pricey
Superv and very tasty Japanese food self cooked ..
Great beef and a neat environment. Definitely worth checking out. I will be coming back here the next time I'm in Tokyo.
Good food especially the steak
I’m actually quite sad to write this review since I’ve had great experiences so far at Japanese Restaurants. This place charges foreigners an extra 10% tax and forces you to pay a mandatory 500 yen cabbage fee, even if you don’t want cabbage. If you don’t order a drink they charge you a 200 yen water fee. I was pretty irked by all of the additional charges. I’ve never had to pay an extra “tax” or “cabbage fee” at any other bbq Resturant. This is in a tourist area so I’m not surprised. I ordered plum wine and the serving was so small - about half of a 6 oz glass. By far the most expensive yakinuku I’ve been to. Thoroughly unimpressed.
Food was delicious here !If you are a meat lover, you really should come and check this place out ! Portion was quite big and the price is quite acceptable ! I would definitively come back here again !
Neat place in the center of Shinjuku, really handy for visiting the area. The meat was delicious and the menu was cheap considering its size (meat, rice, soup, cabbage and... dessert! That's rare for Japan, and I love deserts) The waiter was also helpful and nice.
This is the best beef ive ever had.
Very good meat and a different kind of dining experience.
